Presentation of research work at a Czech conference

Participation at DFRWS EU 2025

At the beginning of April, we will be attending the Digital Forensics Research Conference Europe (DFRWS EU, 2025) in Brno, Czech Republic, where we will be presenting an approach to testing forensic hypotheses based on communication data using topic modeling.

From April 1 to April 4, we will participate in the Digital Forensics Research Conference Europe (DFRWS EU, 2025) in Brno, Czech Republic, which the University of Brno is lead-managed. At the conference, researchers present their studies on various topics in digital forensics, from mobile device forensics to machine learning for digital evidence extraction and forensic analysis of big data. Furthermore, a series of interesting keynote speeches, for example, on a decryption platform from Europol, are planned.

In addition, the Digital Forensics Doctoral Symposium (DFDS) will be held for the first time, offering doctoral students the opportunity to get valuable feedback on their ongoing research and experiments. At the symposium, we will present an approach for finding evidence of suspected, case-relevant topics in forensic communication data. Moreover, there will be plenty of social events at the conference, such as visits to the Starobrno Brewery and an expedition to the Brno Technical Museum.
